The UBC Faculty of Management is pleased to announce Kelly Davidson as the first ever President of Alumni Chapters. A proud Bachelor of Management graduate, Davidson brings a blend of professional excellence, community leadership, and a deep commitment to mentoring the next generation of business leaders
As the inaugural President, Davidson will be building out alumni chapters in Kelowna, Vancouver and Calgary in the coming years. A challenge that resonates with Kelly.
“Our alumni are builders—of careers, companies, and communities, “ says Davidson.
“I’m honoured to help connect our alum so we can support each other and open doors for UBC students and graduates,” says Davidson.
Since graduating from UBC Okanagan in 2017, Davidson has established her career in Finance. She is an Investment Advisor and Associate Portfolio Manager at Odlum Brown, an independent, full-service Canadian investment firm. Over the past decade, she has served on the Board of Directors for the Kelowna Women’s Shelter, acted as provincial and local Chair for the Catalyst Ambassadors with the BC Cancer Foundation, and organized Kelowna’s Walk of Hope in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada. Davidson contributions are widely recognized, including selection to the 2024 Kelowna Chamber of Commerce Top 40 Under 40, finalist for Kelowna Women in Business “Woman of the Year,” and receipient of the City of Kelowna’s Woman of the Year Award.
“Our alumni network is one of our greatest strengths,” says Dr. Gady Jacoby, Dean of the Faculty of Management.
“Kelly’s record of service and impact makes her an ideal leader to bring our alumni community together and strengthen the bridge between industry and our classrooms.”
